We used John and The Roofing Company to replace our roof before the summer. They showed us the Atlas shingles and we went with the hearthstone color. They removed the old roof and put the new one on all in one day which was great. We love how it looks and will be calling them for siding next year

Had John come and repair our roof after the latest windstorm took off with a few shingles. He showed up quickly, assessed the damage and make all necessary repairs very promptly. We'll be needing a new roof in the near future and there is no doubt I'll be calling John and The Roofing Company to do the job.

Not Sure What’s Wrong With Your Roof? You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone

Roofing problems aren’t always easy to diagnose.

Water appearing in one area of your home doesn’t necessarily mean the problem started directly above it.

A few missing shingles might be an isolated issue — or they could be one sign of a roofing system that’s beginning to fail.

And after a storm, damage isn’t always visible from the ground.

That’s why guessing isn’t the answer.

You need an experienced roofing contractor who can evaluate the problem, identify the likely source, and give you straightforward recommendations about what to do next.

That’s where The Roofing Company comes in.

Roof Problems We Can Help You Address

Your roof is exposed to the elements every day, and problems can develop for many different reasons.

Our team can evaluate a wide range of residential roofing concerns, including:

If something doesn’t look right, don’t wait until you know exactly what the problem is before calling.

Tell us what you’ve noticed, and we’ll help you take it from there.

Roof Leak Repair in Pittsburgh, PA

Few roofing problems get a homeowner’s attention faster than water coming into the house.

But finding where that water entered the roofing system isn’t always as straightforward as it seems.

Water can travel before it becomes visible inside your home, which means the stain on your ceiling may not be directly underneath the source of the problem.

That’s why effective roof leak repair starts with identifying what’s actually causing the water intrusion.

Our team will evaluate the affected area and surrounding roofing system to help determine the source of the problem and recommend the appropriate next step.

The sooner you address a suspected roof leak, the better chance you have of preventing additional water damage.

Missing or Damaged Shingles? Don’t Ignore Them

Western Pennsylvania weather can be tough on shingles.

Wind, storms, temperature changes, and normal aging can cause shingles to become damaged, loose, lifted, cracked, or completely detached from the roof.

Even a relatively small area of damage can leave the roofing system underneath more vulnerable to the elements.

If you notice shingles in your yard or can see an area of your roof that looks different after a storm, having it evaluated can help you understand whether a repair is needed.

A small roofing problem is usually easier to deal with before it becomes a larger one.

Storm & Wind Damage Roof Repair

Strong winds and severe weather can damage a roof in ways that aren’t always obvious from the ground.

You may notice missing shingles immediately, but other problems can be more difficult to see.

If your home has recently experienced severe weather and you’re concerned about your roof, The Roofing Company can evaluate the roofing system and help you understand its condition.

We’ll look for signs of damage and explain what we find so you can make an informed decision about what to do next.

Can Your Roof Be Repaired, or Does It Need to Be Replaced?

This is one of the most important questions homeowners ask us.

And the answer isn’t automatically “replace it.”

Not every leak or damaged shingle means you need a completely new roof.

Whether repair makes sense depends on several factors, including:

• The age of your roof

• The overall condition of the roofing system

• The type and extent of the damage

• Whether the problem is isolated or widespread

• The number of previous repairs

• Whether leaks are recurring

• The expected cost of continuing to make repairs

If your roof is otherwise in reasonable condition and the problem is isolated, a repair may be the appropriate solution.

If the roofing system is reaching the end of its useful life or problems are becoming widespread, replacement may make more financial sense over the long term.

We’ll explain what we find and help you understand your options.

Why Fixing the Source of the Problem Matters

A roof repair should address more than the symptom you can see.

If there’s water on your ceiling, simply dealing with the visible stain doesn’t stop the water from getting into the home.

If shingles keep coming loose, repeatedly replacing individual shingles without understanding why may not solve the underlying problem.

Our broader construction experience helps us look beyond the most obvious symptom.

We want to understand what’s happening with the roofing system so we can recommend a solution based on the actual problem.

Because the goal isn’t simply to make the problem disappear temporarily.

It’s to help protect your home.

Roof Repair Built Around Western Pennsylvania Homes

Western Pennsylvania roofs experience a wide range of conditions throughout the year.

Heavy rain can expose vulnerable areas.

Strong winds can loosen or remove roofing materials.

Snow and ice add another layer of stress during winter.

And repeated freezing and thawing can challenge already vulnerable areas of a roofing system.

Over time, these conditions can expose weaknesses that weren’t previously noticeable.

Our team understands the environment local roofs have to perform in and brings that perspective to the way we evaluate roofing problems.
