We used John and The Roofing Company to replace our roof before the summer. They showed us the Atlas shingles and we went with the hearthstone color. They removed the old roof and put the new one on all in one day which was great. We love how it looks and will be calling them for siding next year

Had John come and repair our roof after the latest windstorm took off with a few shingles. He showed up quickly, assessed the damage and make all necessary repairs very promptly. We'll be needing a new roof in the near future and there is no doubt I'll be calling John and The Roofing Company to do the job.

Don’t Let Rainwater Become a Problem for Your Home

When gutters are working properly, you probably don’t think much about them.

When they’re not, the signs can be hard to ignore.

  • Water overflowing during heavy rain.
  • Gutters pulling away from the house.
  • Water spilling near the foundation.
  • Damaged or deteriorating sections.

Your gutters are an important part of how your home’s exterior manages water.

If they’re no longer doing their job, The Roofing Company can help you determine the right solution.

Professional Gutter Installation in Pittsburgh, PA

A gutter system needs to do more than hang along the edge of your roof.

It needs to collect water efficiently and direct it away from the areas of your property you want to protect.

Proper installation matters.

The size, placement, slope, downspout locations, and overall configuration of the gutter system can all affect how well it performs.

Our broader roofing and construction experience helps us look at gutters as part of your home’s complete exterior system.

Because your roof and gutters shouldn’t work independently.

They should work together.

Signs It May Be Time to Replace Your Gutters

Gutters don’t need to completely fail before they deserve attention.

There are several signs that your existing gutter system may need to be evaluated or replaced, including:

If you’re noticing problems when it rains, don’t wait for water to cause damage somewhere else.

We’ll help you determine what your gutter system needs.

Your Roof and Gutters Need to Work Together

Your roof sheds a tremendous amount of water during a Western Pennsylvania rainstorm.

Your gutters are responsible for taking that water from the roofline and directing it safely away from the home.

That’s why we don’t think of gutters as an isolated exterior accessory.

They’re part of the larger water-management system protecting your property.

When we’re working on your roof and gutters together, we can look at how those components interact rather than treating them as unrelated projects.

It’s one of the advantages of choosing an exterior contractor that understands more than one part of your home.

New Gutters Are a Natural Addition to a Roof Replacement

If you’re already investing in a new roof, it can be a good time to evaluate the condition of your gutters.

Older, damaged, or poorly performing gutters can detract from a newly installed roof and may not provide the water management your updated exterior needs.

Replacing the roof and gutters as part of the same overall exterior project can also help create a more cohesive finished appearance.

Our team can evaluate your existing gutter system while discussing your roofing project and help you determine whether keeping or replacing it makes sense.

Gutter Replacement Can Improve More Than Your Drainage

Gutters are functional, but they’re also visible.

Old, sagging, damaged, or mismatched gutters can affect the appearance of an otherwise attractive exterior.

When you’re replacing siding, roofing, or making other improvements to your home, new gutters can help complete the transformation.

The goal is an exterior where the roof, siding, gutters, windows, and trim work together both functionally and visually.

The Roofing Company can help bring those pieces together under one experienced team.

Why Proper Gutter Drainage Matters

Water is one of the biggest threats to any home’s exterior.

A properly functioning gutter system helps control where roof runoff goes once it reaches the edge of your home.

When that water isn’t managed correctly, you may see problems such as:

  • Water spilling down exterior walls
  • Water collecting around the home
  • Erosion around landscaping
  • Excessive moisture near the foundation
  • Staining on exterior surfaces
  • Water repeatedly overflowing in the same areas

The goal of a gutter system is simple:

Collect the water coming off your roof and move it where it belongs.

We’ll help make sure your system is designed with that goal in mind.

Gutters Built for Western Pennsylvania Weather

Western Pennsylvania gets plenty of rain, along with snow, ice, wind, and changing seasonal conditions.

Your gutters need to manage the water coming off your roofing system throughout the year.

Heavy rainfall can quickly expose undersized, damaged, clogged, or poorly configured gutters.

Winter conditions can put additional stress on vulnerable sections.

That’s why gutter installation shouldn’t be treated as an afterthought.

Your gutter system is part of protecting your home’s exterior from the conditions we experience here in Western Pennsylvania.
