We used John and The Roofing Company to replace our roof before the summer. They showed us the Atlas shingles and we went with the hearthstone color. They removed the old roof and put the new one on all in one day which was great. We love how it looks and will be calling them for siding next year

Had John come and repair our roof after the latest windstorm took off with a few shingles. He showed up quickly, assessed the damage and make all necessary repairs very promptly. We'll be needing a new roof in the near future and there is no doubt I'll be calling John and The Roofing Company to do the job.

Your Roof Should Protect Your Home — Not Keep You Up at Night

A roof problem isn’t always obvious.

Sometimes it’s a missing shingle after a storm. Sometimes it’s a small stain on the ceiling. Other times, an aging roof simply starts showing signs that it’s reaching the end of its useful life.

Whatever brought you here, ignoring a roofing problem can allow a relatively manageable issue to become a much more expensive one.

You may be wondering:

Does my roof need to be repaired or replaced?

How serious is that leak?

How much life does my roof have left?

Which roofing material is best for my home?

How much is this going to cost?

And most importantly — who can I trust to give me an honest answer?

You shouldn’t have to figure it all out yourself.

Our team will evaluate your roof, explain what we find, and help you understand the options available so you can make an informed decision about your home.

Residential Roofing Services for Pittsburgh Area Homeowners

Every home and every roof is different. That’s why we offer a range of residential roofing services designed to address everything from isolated damage to complete roofing system replacements.

  • Roof Replacement
When your existing roof has reached the end of its useful life or has extensive damage, a complete roof replacement may be the best long-term solution.

We’ll help you understand your roofing options and choose a system that fits your home, priorities, and budget.

  • Roof Repair
A damaged roof doesn’t automatically mean you need a new one.

If you’re dealing with leaks, missing shingles, damaged flashing, or other localized roofing problems, we’ll inspect the affected areas and determine whether a professional repair can solve the problem.

  • Asphalt Shingle Roofing
Asphalt shingles remain one of the most popular residential roofing choices because they combine durability, versatility, curb appeal, and value.

We install architectural, premium, and luxury asphalt shingle roofing systems, giving homeowners a variety of styles and options for their properties.

  • Metal Roofing
For homeowners looking for exceptional durability and long-term performance, metal roofing can be an excellent option.

Our capabilities include standing seam metal roofing, corrugated roofing, metal shingles, and stone-coated steel systems.

How Do You Know When Your Roof Needs Attention?

You don’t have to wait until water starts dripping from your ceiling to have your roof inspected.

There are several warning signs that could indicate your residential roofing system needs professional attention.

These can include:

  • Missing, cracked, curled, or damaged shingles
  • Shingle granules collecting in gutters
  • Water stains on ceilings or walls
  • Visible roof leaks
  • Damaged or deteriorating flashing
  • Sagging areas of the roof
  • Storm or wind damage
  • Moss or excessive organic growth
  • An aging roofing system
  • Unexplained moisture in the attic

If you’ve noticed something that doesn’t look right, it’s better to have it evaluated before the problem has an opportunity to spread.

We’ll help you determine what’s happening and what, if anything, needs to be done.

Repair or Replace? We’ll Help You Make the Right Call

One of the biggest questions homeowners have is whether their roof can be repaired or needs to be completely replaced.

There isn’t one answer that applies to every home.

The right solution depends on factors such as the age of your roof, the extent of the damage, previous repairs, the condition of the roofing system, and whether continuing to repair the roof makes financial sense.

Our job is to help you understand those factors.

If a repair makes sense, we’ll explain why.

If replacement is the better long-term option, we’ll walk you through your choices.

You deserve enough information to make a confident decision without feeling pressured into work your home doesn’t need.
