The Membranes and Which They Suits
- Thermoplastic polyolefin. Seams are heat-welded, producing a weld comparable to the material as such. Typically white, and that cuts cooling-season heat load appreciably. The prevailing choice on new commercial work.

Drainage — the Actual Whole Game
"Flat" is a misnomer. A correctly constructed low-slope assembly carries an intentional slope toward its drains. Where that has gone absent, rainfall sits, and standing water is by far the largest consistent indicator of flat roof breakdown.

The Points at Which Flat Systems Leak

- Edge metal and the terminations. Where the membrane stops and must be mechanically fastened. Uplift acts most precisely at the edges.
